He checked the car today generaly and .. nothing. The s2 is in excellent condition, engine sounds and clean, newer had any crash or etc, all the papers is clear, just absolutely bargain.
Anybody knows this car? The seller didnt know any forums, when my friend asked him..
he had big plans for that car engine wise he was going to modify it .why he bought a spare engine . but he never gets a chance to drive it .the reason he was selling it cheap was he didnt want to renew the insurance . but he did the day you bought it now he has to make a loss and claim some of it back.some doctor owned it before him and spent loads of money on it to keep it the way it is
Well, so why he sold that car so cheap? Please, be honest, couse any way the car is bought, already in IRL and my friend wants to know everything about her. For me is to good to be true.

well as you know its wrong time of the year to sell a car just after christmas no body has any money ( except you of course ) plus he needs the money to go abroad and take his family as well he needed to sell the car to pay for the trip . he is a cab driver and never uses the car so it was just sitting there doing nothing .there is nothing wrong with the car as far as i know and its also standard so it hasn't been abused.
I agree, that its good time for buyers, but any way.. Why nobody bought that car for so cheap, when she could go easely for ~6k£ or even more and she was advertised for more than month? We are talking about S2, not about cheepy audi coupe and everyone knows that is realy hard to find good S2 exemple. I just simple not believe, that everything with this car is ok.. My friend doesn't know a lot about s2's, he just likes to drive good cars..So might he left fooled

i think people still want s2's with less than 100,000 miles on clock which is getting harder by the day and as long as it is well maintained they are normally ok .i think it was the mileage that was putting people off ,i think you got yourself a good car there.
I found that car and did help for my irish friend to buy it, but I was always telling him, that good 'S2 aby' price begins from 6k.£ . So, that our hunt was a bit dodgy. Last week we little discused about this in tread:
... So, looks like everyone knows the price of good S2... If my friend isn't lucky and has been fooled, I can find for him most everything, what the car needs in LT, much quicker and much cheeper than in UK or IRL he would found
..Please , if that car had a not so perfect history and wasn't in so perfect condition how she looks now, guys from uk, please be honest and share with me if you know anything about that S2
I just want to relax and be happy, that my friend bought a good example of ours family beasts
And my friend simple wants to know the biography (no matter good or bad) of his audi family newest member
