wheel in arch question?

i noticed that my passenger side rear wheel seems to be closer to thefront arch then the drivers side is this normal ?i have seen on other audis like the 80 and the wheel dont seem to be in the middle?

Has the rear subframe been removed? Its possible to mount them a little out of line with the car which will move one wheel forward and one wheel back, BTDT.
