    Its on 8 - 10 times a day on sky - only problem is that after a while you have seen them all..

    Was thoroughly disappointed though when they raced a URQ against an evo and the Audi lost

    That was just plain wrong!

      Just after that programme The quattro Owners Club newsletter had an article written by the owner and driver of the ex-works quattro, John Hanlon.
      Suffice to say on the day he was originally up against a RS6, and was much faster around the track. He was apparently suprised when the programme was aired and showed him up against an Evo.

      Especially as 'The Stig' or whoever was driving the Evo on a track that they would know intimately. John H had never driven the track before and was running his 'practice' engine. (280-ish bhp IIRC, usual spec probably nearer 360+ bhp).

      So, an ex-race driver in a new car driving a track he knows like the back of his hand. Up against A2 quattro in 'practice tune' (also seemed to be on a forest stage chassis set-up), driven by a business man from Manchester (though a superb driver!) on a track that he didn't know. And ISTR the track was damp when John drove it, but much drier when the Evo had a go later (could of even been a different day).
      Even then he was only fractions behind the Evo. Given a proper comparison no doubt the quattro would be quite a lot faster around the track than the Evo.

      Hopefully John, the quattro and other Group B cars will be seen in full action at The Historic Motorsport Show again this year!

          You could clearly see the Quattro wasnt set up for tarmac by the way the suspension responded to the corners tho, it was all too soft

              Just checked Sky's EPG.
              Not sure about it being a new series, but it is on on Sunday night, BBC2 at 9.10pm (Uk time) and is a new episode.

              Synopsis says;

              Winter Olympic Special:
              The Top Gear team visit Norway during which they attempt Olympic events, but with cars.
              In a world first, they fire a rocket powered Mini off a ski jump

              Wonder if we see any "quattro" action ?
              Should be a laugh

                Don't believe everything the media tells you, Mitso****** were not happy that within one program their new product would be seen to lose twice on a feature (the same episode had the bobsleigh jobbie). The program makers decided to show the A2/mitso... as a win for Mitso. The times John produced beat the Mit by 6 secs, he was quicker than the RS6 also but that never aired.
