    Total Audi :o)

Got my 2nd edition today and its looking good
See they've quoted Graham from under down under for the valve stem how to and also Jeffers for the V8 rear diff as well.

Only flicked thru and will have a proper read later on today no doubt.

              Total Audi Issue 2

Received my copy yesterday and first impressions are very favourable, had an email from Tom Saunders saying there was a delay with this issue as I'm sure all subscribers did.

My only slight niggle was the RS2 buyers guide....it all read in a strangely familar way! Then realised when I was researching to buy my RS I read this quite a few times

The Rs2 article is a cut and paste job with sentences like "6 years have passed" being replaced with "Many years have passed" etc etc. I'm sure David wrote the original because its an excellent insite into RS2 ownership. Nice pic of Derek Bell's RS2 tho!

              Keep up the good work!

That was written a long time ago but the information is still very relevant so I just updated it slightly. Glad the mag is going down well

They copied my write-up about the V8 rear diff? Easy content gathering I would say
They could at least ask if they can copy the article.

                    Dear Jeffry,
I'm sorry you have taken exception to us using your highly informative how-to article but we saw this as very important information and wanted to give both yourself (highoctane.nl) and the S2 forum a nice bit of PR. Total Audi wants to work closely with all clubs and fora and in using this information in good faith, we hope it serves as a catalyst to get other enthusiasts writing into us to contribute.
We are not a huge publishing corporation looking to give ourselves an easy life by using free material off the net, rather we are a bunch of enthusiasts (like you) who love the Audi brand and are passionate about making this magazine successful. Unfortunately we don't have big budgets for commissioning and paying for exclusive features so we truly value any help you can give us, and the internet is a fantastic resource for areas such as this. That said, we always credit where credit is due and thought that by publishing a link to your website and crediting the S2 forum (as well as printing a picture of the homepage for added PR) this would help is forge closer links with you.

                        Hello David,

Thanks you for your quick reply. I don't mind that you use the info found on the internet or the S2forum. Altough I would apreciate it when it would be notified to the writer/author before publishing. It's more the principle. Besides that I'm happy that this info is out there for other audi enthousiasts.
                        Cheers

Ive read my thru now, cover to cover and found it to be a good read. That PPI TT was nicely done, a lot of work for a TT but i actually liked it.

There was an article in there i read that i thought cut off earlier, at first i thought there was a page missing but apparently not.... the review of the dark blue / black TT QS, just seemed a bit short like half of it was missing.

Look forward to reading more soon, i assume its going to include a classfieds section eventually? Not that i buy much from the back but it often makes for an interesting flick thru to see whats out there, how much etc, also can be handy to sell parts on, esp if done similar to PVW etc where the ad's are free (think they are anyway)

The other thing i wondered is whether or not you'd eventually be able to include some kind of members area or just a download area of some of the photo's used, there were a few nice ones in this mag that would look great as a wallpaper for example.
