Depends what your going to get for your 3K, does it include turbo , wiring loom , ECU, manifolds etc etc??
Personally I'd buy this:-

If you hunt around you could get on cheaper than this, I've seen them as low as £750. Anyway what you thinking??

i think so it's not for me ,a friend is doing a shortie and has sourced one ,he was going to buy my aby off of me but insurance won't let me buy it back
