    Best Kill!!

    Hi,

Just wondering what some people's most enjoyable spanking's are. And not the smutty ones.

Had a quick encounter in Reading today... was cruising into town with reasonable pace, following a big Ford F-250 truck with a 6.8l V10, according to the badging on the back. Complete with a big stars 'n stripes in the back window. So, I passed him up - not agressively - and pulled up at a red light. He pulls out in the lane next to me.

When the light went green I pulled off like a grandma and he mashed it (i think i felt that beast rather than hear it).. naturally, I had ot respond to that american muscle and buried it to the redline, quick shift into 2nd and to the redline again... by which time I was many car lengths ahead + swapped into his lane. I think he was a bit miffed as he then felt it neccesary to follow me very close @ 60 and come rumbling past when i pulled back to the inside lane

All I can say is 1/3 the cc's and 1/2 the cylinders and I still kicked his *** with my German machine

Honda Integra Type-R and Civic Type-R
        VW Corrado VR6 and G60
Audi TT ( don't know which engine )

and a countless number of TDI engined hatchbacks on the highway who I'm sure are still clueless about that dark, old Avant that not only could keep up with them, but sent them back to their rightful place of diesel is not faster than gasoline ! Most of the turbo diesel drivers around here ( and they are the vast majority ) are convinced they're kings of the road now since they have all that low-end torque...

Had an interesting encounter with a new M3 in the S6 a while back, I went past it tootling along on the wrong side of 130mph (on a private test track) and next thing I knew I had this thing nailled to my bumper, well until (for no apparent reason as the road ahead of it was clear) an artic lorry decide he wanted to pull onto the lane I was in.
I managed to out break the M3 quite successfully as he ended up in the lane next to me.

              An AMG 55 eh?

I just love the stealth of the S2... most ppl don't actually think to try it on, which is nice IMO. With a slightly louder exhaust i've gotten a bit more "interest" from the Chavs 'n boy racers - I love the way they struggle to keep up even when I shift @ 3k RPM

I do find the likes of any Honda Type-R, xxx TDI, GTi etc.. try to lay down the law at the lights. I did try the naughty trick of taking the outside lane at the lights that quickly turns into single lane thereafter; the 3.0 Z3 decided that wan't acceptable. I think he expected to show me up until I floored it, once I hit 2nd...

Other than that, an '03 M3 driver decided to keep the outside lane on a 3-lane m-way so I passed him on the inside lane. He floored it, I crept in behind him and nipped at his heels till 130 at which point he backed down to be honest, I just wanted to know if the ol' girl could keep up with him - I was impressed!

*disclaimer* - I generally drive sensibly and without being an *****hole, but some people need a lesson in humility - i do it for their good

A while ago I had a play with a BMW Alpina B10 for about 15 miles of A-road, but I was out in the wrong car. Luckily it was raining, so my cq20v could catch him through the twisties, but everytime we got to a striaght I kept thinking 'why didn't I drive the S2 tonight?'
It was a pretty impressive car and impressive driving in the conditions.

hehehe, I have situations like that usually when I'm in the S6 and have the hounds on board, they don't like the twisties too much...

Go hussled by summut big when passing through that ****** awful set of roundabouts in Milton Keynes (god I hate that place).

I would loose him around the roundabouts (it was pi$$ing it down) but then he would monster up behind me down the straights.

Each roundabout I would go in faster then boot it harder down the next straight but he would just about catch me again.

I slowed down to see what it was....turned out to be an Aston Martin and boy it it sound glorious as it booted off the last roundabout with the tail out. I didn't want to spank it anymore...just listen to it

                      Cheers n

@Ross: With the AMG 55 i think it was either pure fluke, or coarse knowledge so to speak
As i was just leaving my gaff on my way to work and the SL55 was in front of me waiting to pull onto our very twisty 2 lane coast road. i follwed him out not thinking about racing him, just as i normally do i went to overtake straight after getting on the main road but as i was almost past him he decided that he wanted to race me. we caught up with traffic very quickly and he was forced to brake to pull out behind me. it was then that we started coming upto corner after corner and seen as i drive this stretch of road at least 5 times a day i knew exactly what the limits were and i think it really surprised him as i went as quick as i possible dare around them. he must of thought that i was so gave up chasing me
I am under no ilusions that this car on a straight run would leave me standing, but hey there´s never a straight run when you want one
by the way im not a complete nutter i only race if i know the road well, for others safety and my own of coarse...
