    Oh No!

My brother has a s2 in his UR. He was talking to a mate at the petrol station just about to fill up. I think u can see where this is going. He picked up the diesel handle instead of the petrol . He put in about a pounds worth before realising what he was doing. Would this have done any lasting damage to the engine? He has driven the car since and he is experiencing some jolting which i presume is related. Is there anything he can do to flush the system or something? Would damage any other parts? Thanks for your help

i think je put about 40 quid of petrol in straight away so hopefully no lasting damage. Will clog the spark plugs up or anything?

I would not do a blast with diesel inside! I think it will sink the Knock sesistance of the fuel! Let him drive around till the reserve and then fill it up again! Then give it a blast!

I think after this most of the diesel will be already away!
