Someone From Forum Knows This S2!!

Hi Guys/Gals,

Just looking through old mot's and service history. I have a feeling a few people may know or know of my pride and joy even though she has ended up in Carlisle! Here goes:

07/06/95 - delivered to Hartwell Audi Cardiff
02/03/96 - 1st oil change at Reg Vardy Dover Street Leicester
17/06/96 - service at Reg Vardy Dover Street Leicester
18/09/96 - 2nd oil change at above
28/11/96 through 07/01/98 - serviced/work carried out at above dealer

The next stamp was for recall 4807? Any ideas?

Further servicing/work and first MOT which was carried out on 21/06/99 completed at Reg Vardy Audi Blackbird Road Leicester.

Gets interesting now as I recognised the garage meet from Greg S. Was it Basford?

08/05/00 - Service at John Fox Audi Valley Road Basford
03/06/00 - MOT at Car & Commercial 55 Church Street Basford by G.Walker
16/05/01 - Service at John Fox as above
04/06/01 - MOT at Car & Commercial as above by S.Brandom

That's when a Michael Johnstone from West Cumbria must of purchased it before I bought if in Feb 2005.

Anyone know of this car and its background and what the recall was for..

Airbag recall. They must have a few cases where the airbag had deployed due to static electricity when getting out of the car.
It was somehow better earthed.
I've got the recall documents in my folders that Alastair ("Alg" on here) kept over his 7 year ownership.

Cheers Jas, I will get some pics on soon of her also. Ur probably one of the nearest on the forum to me? No-one in Cumbria as far as I know!! A couple of owners in SW Scotland I think! S2 Frappr map is good also!!

NicNac is in Workington, Boez and myself are in Dumfries and Shadquattro is in Ecclefechan. All within a 30 mile radius.

I don't have an S2 any more but it doesn't stop me looking

Yeah, a very nice run over the A66 once it opens up to dual carriageway heading east from Penrith to Scotch Corner! I'd love to see some more S2's with obviously a lot of time and money spent on them as most on here are. Probably put mine in the shadows but she still my pride & joy!! Meet up over NE sounds good!!
