No way Beckham will be dropped until Sven has gone. Hope I am wrong but I think we may have seen the best of him unless he can turn it in for one last tournament.....

Providing everyone is fit He is almost certainly going to go with Rooney and Owen up top. Beckham,Lampard,Gerrard and Cole (J) in the middle. Probably Cole(A), Neville, Terry and Ferdinand at the back. Robinson in goal. Crouch will probably come on as a sub around the 70 min mark.

Anyone else a la King ,Carrick, Defoe, SWP, Sol etc, will be on the bench, and although in the squad will be unlikely to get a look in unless some picks up an injury......

Sad thing is, we will not have a better group of players to gon and bring the cup home.
If we can somehow get Gerrard an Lampard working in the same midfield together as they do for their clubs, that will be the key. It must be possible otherwise theres no way Mourinho would have twice tried to poach Gerrard to Chelski for £30 mil +

Surely its 3rd time lucky. I reckon we would have gone on to win France 98 had we not been cheated by the Argies when Campbell had his goal disallowed. Same again when he had another angainst Portugal ruled out in the last Euro championship......

I believe that there is no one in the world apart from maybe Ronaldinho that can put a corner or freekick in like Beckham. Ialso believe that his crossing in open play is exceptional but as i have said we need someone in there to put the ball in the back of the net. Its no coincidence that when Beckham left united Ruud until apart from a bit this season has struggled to find the net. With regards to the middle of midfield i do think Carrick can influence games more than Parker with his vision and passing something parkler needs to work on although parkers tackling and work rate is first class. It has to be Gerrard and Lampard we have two great goal scoring midfielders let them both go forward and lets win games like Brazil do instead of trying to be cautious all the time. The back line should be good enough to cope. Thats my opinion again
