That's an absolute steal! I've just placed an order for 60 sets (kidding).

If someone did order them would they have to honour the price or is the marked price viewed as an invite to buy? Not sure how the law works in regard to e-commerce.

Under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, it is illegal to give misleading price information about goods and services, including telephone quotes and internet sales.

However, if something is incorrectly priced (with a lower price), you cannot insist on buying it at that price. The law states that the vendor can refuse to sell anything to you, at any price, without giving a reason.

On the flip side, if the vendor sells you something at too low a price by mistake, they cannot later make you pay the extra, unless they can show you that knew the price was wrong and were therefore trying to cheat them. This is very difficult to prove and no one would attempt it.

Most online vendors have T's and C's which stipulate that if a price is incorrect, that they will refuse to sell the item to you. Check the online sales for any major high street retailer and you will find this. Since QRSport are not a major retailer, they do not have a corporate legal team behind them so their T's & C's and disclaimer pages are, of course, empty
