hi got 1992 s2 with 3b engine had cracked cyl head so head shop got sec hand refurbished head . it was assembiled but would'nt start but would start if the pulse wire to distributer was earthed as it was cranking so the distributer was replaced but still same prob all the timing has been checked any ideas

you could try checking your engine sensors ,Hall sender and crank position sensors.
crank ones can break .A little vague but hope this helps.

are you getting a spark?

dont get a spark and no injector action till you earth the centre wire of distributer plug (pulse wire )while cranking then it starts
