EEprom Burning

Hi, i have an Opel C20XE Eeprom file and i would like to see how it behaves! Can someone please burn it for me? How much does something like it costs? is there any Occupation that works with these stuff so i can go there to have it done?

Do you know the type of chip you require it burnt onto?

The ECU is a Bosch motronic 2.5

I can burn chips, depending upon the type of chip. If you can let me know the type of chip I'll see if my burner can do it.

the ACU numbers are Bosch: 0 261 200 191 and Opel: 90324334

The Eprom is a

27c256 eprom

Most modern burners will do it no problem as it is a common type.

Same chip is used in the 3B S2 Motronic, cheap and easy to burn

Where did you get the file from?? Do you know it is a reliable source??

I'm only asking becasue there are some really dodgy eprom files available from E-Bay

Oh dear. if I was you I would chuck it into the recycle bin (if you use Windows) where it belongs.
Not worth blowing your engine for the sake of a dodgy chip...

Most likely it won't even be off an S2
