    Slight burning smell at 230km/h...

    Evenin' everyone.

Coming into work today, I was running a bit late and the highway was clear so I decided it was time to make the world go backwards :mischeif:

At about 230km/h, after about 20-30 seconds at that speed, I smelled a faint burning smell, a bit like when you burn a small bit of plastic with a lighter. Slowed down to 200km/h for the rest of my trip ( 15 km total ) and no more smell....

Had a look under the hood after, no smell and all seemed normal...

Any thoughts, ideas very welcome !

    Thanx,

    David

Your EM got hotter than usual and your cam cover is leaking a bit and that's it.

    Don't worry.

Had the same thing with my s6 today, i have just done the rocker cover gasket a few weeks back turned out that there is still a residue of old burnt on oil on the heat shield between head and wastegate, now cleaned off seems to be ok.
