Audi S3

Anyone had any experiences with an S3?
Been seriously considering one...
As I'm turning 19 this year I'm looking for something that is fast and reliable but doesn't cost a fortune... And then there's the TDI way but I'm not to keen to buy a diesel so...

Any experiences or suggestions?

My parent's aren't exactly happy with it as I'm attending uni next year and have to get a job to afford it...
I hope that the release of the new S3 will take the prices down a bit...

I just went out in my brother-in-laws V70 T5. Only cost him £1500 and is the bullet proof 5 cylinder and its pretty quick!

S3 is a good car, it's really a bigger TT shares the same running gear etc etc, however certain things aren't cheap if they fail, aka haldex coupling a known weak point, good fun car though early ones were 210 bhp later ones 225.

I was out in one not that long ago as i considered one as well, didnt feel as quick as the S2 by a long way, altho i dont think it would have been far behind, but it just didnt have that feeling, the one i was out in was 280bhp 272lb/ft, so was just down on torque from the S2.

Nice looking cars tho and nice inside i think.
