Nope sorry but this was ALL mine for the day, well except when we needed to stop for photo's and fuel.

I still cannot get over the effect of the "S" button on the steering wheel, if it was mine permenately I think I would have to hardwire it on all the time, it got quite tedious having to remember to switch it on everytime I started it up.

You will see the fruits of the day within TotalAudi soon

I must admit I was sceptical of Audi going away from forced induction for it's performance models but I think they have succeeded with it.

            oh and one more image?

You total jammy git Corey!. Fair play though, it's one hell of a motor.
I'd take one in black (though red would be a close second choice!)

I'll look forward to reading all about it in TA.

If I could describe the car in one word?

Hmm, that looks familiar... more pics

Glad you enjoyed it - lovely piece of engineering. Know where you're coming from with the S button though, should be a no cost option to reverse its operation, i.e. on by default, press to switch off. :mischeif:

Yep one and the same, just without the glitz of the showroom or the distracting skirts. Just the car, a tank full of fuel (but not for long) and some of the best roads Lincolnshire has to offer.

Today ranks as a good day

Nah, disagree the Mk1 (IMHO) pales into insignificance compared to this, the whole driving experience is far better than the original.

to coin a phrase "I'm lovin' it" (well I was until I handed it back )

I should think it does drive better, the mk1 looks so different to a standard a4 this looks a little like the standard a4 or even a standard s4. The original stood out oh and i owned one negaro blue 450bhp loved it
