Hello all,
Im just after some info really because i cant seem to find anything specific on "authority" websites regarding this.
If a car is on Cat C or Cat D, i believe these can be taken off from the car, altho would assume they remain on the history if a check is done.
Just wondering what the implications for insurance would be or how hard it is to get these taken off the car.
Ive seen several cars lately that have been at a good price, obviously for good reason, so would be helpful if someone or people could shed some light on the subject if possible.
One example ive seen at the moment is a red R32, Cat C, stolen recovered apparently, all it needs is an ECU, then the car to be checked and taxed.
Its not a car i want cos its red for starters, but as i write this, the car is on £9200 with 14mins remaining on the auction, so i would assume it is a big thing otherwise it wouldnt be so much cheaper.
Enough waffle, can someone give facts or point me at factual sites, rather than peoples opinion or "i think..." info
Cheers
