rs2 engine, gearbox & wiring

what would be a fair price to pay for an, rs2 engine gearbox and wiring. Bloke says its done 61k miles.


He has no ecu - says its been stolen. How hard would it be to get an rs2 ecu? Anyone on here got one?

Difficult to say what is a fair price. I would certainly want to see the goods before I put in an offer.

As for the ECU well there are 2 versions, depending on when the car was built. Basically the difference is if the car was fitted with the transponder unit for the key. This was fitted to cars from the following chassis number 8C-S-000001>>

Oh and I may know someone with a new RS2 ECU

every engine that is sold separately,has a low mileage,little strange isn"t it?...... make sure u have all the papers and that he can show you mileage,my engine looks as new and have 165.000 km,so on the looks you cannot tell

Way too much

That's about £2300 with the VAT............for an engine, gearbox and loom

There was an RS2 on Ebay about a month or so ago breaking by 4ringspares, they managed to sell the engine with loom and ecu for £3000! within about a week or so as I asked about it.

kim collins brought that one they sold the gearbox for £1200 as well.

Oh well another mug getting mugged by kim.
