Badged or un-badged?

I have to say that I am not a badge man.

I hate my cars getting any attention from Joe Public. When my G40 was on the road I had a standard Polo badge on the back. This was fantastic as it was the ultimate wolf in sheep's cloathing. Nobody gave the granny mobile a second look until they were behind it trying to keep up.

The day I got the Audi the badges came off. I too discovered that some muppet had tried to remove them with a screw-driver.

I have to say that my favorite is BMW drivers who get the M pack with all the badges on their standard 2ltr. WHY?

Almost as bad are 80 Avants with S2 and RS2 badges. If fact I met one dimwit that thought his 80 2.6E Avant was an RS2, because of the badge.

S2 badges should be a prized posession not stuck on the back of some ******* mobile.

My S6 just has the S6 badges front and rear, i took off (well they nearly fell off) the 4 rings on the bootlid, gives it more of a sleeper look

Just because we all know about the ur S cars dont be fooled into thinking every one does in fact very few people do many think its just a body kit like the latest audis when I saw my first S car I was driving a 200 turbo 10v which at the time was a pretty quick car or so I thought came up behind agreen audi estate with a little silver and red badge went to overtake and he just left me for dead I was so impressed with this I spent ages asking around trying to find out what sort of audi it was but no one seamed to know when I did find out I just had to have one with the badge and now I have two an s6 and an s2 and now I want an RS2 with the badge on proud for all the world to see long live the little badge. allfor now LOU

coincidently, whilst looking for a photo of Gav's old avant, I found this from No Rice last may.

It looks like a Rallye but it's a right hooker. Confused... yes!

If memory serves it was a GTI with a Rallye front end and G60 arches, note the lack of wideboy ur style arches on the rear quarters.
