Sorry about the bulk email sending method but I figured it might be worth contacting the whole Audi owners club - apart from Scotland and North East as they are probably too far away for the purpose of this email.
We are currently filming the second series of the Used Car Road Show for ITV’s digital channel Men & Motors and we are trying to source an Audi A8 4.2 Quattro (mid nineties) for one of our show’s features dealing with luxury cars. The item will probably be 2-3 minutes long on one of our shows.
We have already filmed 4 of our 20 shows (Classic Car Show at Catton Hall and Redline Rumble at Santa Pod) and featured cars like the Citroen BX 16V, Porsche 911 (993) Turbo 4, Ferrari 355 GTS Replica, Lotus Elan, to name but a few as the list goes on and on.
The next filming date on our diary, which is when we would love to feature an A8, is on 21st May (this Sunday) at Beaulieu’s Autojumble event. We will cover petrol expenses and pay for your entrance fee so you could always make a day out of it by bringing a guest an enjoying the event itself whilst your car is being filmed for our TV series.
Please do let me know your thoughts. I know it is probably a bit short notice but we are currently working on each show on a weekly basis as the 1st show is scheduled to be broadcast on 29th May (very fast turn around in TV terms) and we therefore haven’t got the luxury of time.

Here is a brief summary of what our show aims to achieve:
We are currently producing the second series of the Used Car Roadshow for ITV’s Men & Motors channel. Since the first transmission date the audience rates have constantly grown in number. Men & Motors are currently airing the repeats of the first series and the audience rates are peaking at 330,000 viewers. Needless to say that we are excited about these figures and can’t wait for the current series to start screening on 29th May 2006.
Typically a series will comprise 20 x 1 hour episodes – the last two shows are a compilation (Best of) of the whole series, and each episode will be filmed at a car event (throughout the UK) whilst also introducing our feature buyer. We will attempt to find an appropriate car for each buyer in accordance with their wish list and budget and hopefully after having test driven 2 of the 3 cars on offer, they will buy one car by the end of the show. The aim of the show is to educate and advise our audience in the search of used cars and the used car industry in general.
The show will be fronted by our two top presenters: Jason Dawe (former Top Gear presenter and Sunday Times journalist), the UK’s expert when it comes to Used Cars, and Penny Mallory, former presenter on Driven and former National Ladies Champion Rally Driver).
For Owners Clubs helping us to source cars or for businesses featuring on our show there is the possibility to include a link to their website on our site. The Used Car Roadshow’s website currently gets over 60,000 hits per week!!!
