    VAG-COM diagnosed lambda adaptation

I have diagnosed my 3B with VAG COM and I read the measurement group 000. I then compared this data to s2central and everything is withing limit except for lambda adaptation. Measured value is 255 (limits 100-150). Could this be the sign of the faulty lambda?

I do experience some rough cold starts and it happens on occasion for engine to stall when heavy braking and going to idle (MAF and ISV have been cleaned).

I tried then the adaptation option in VAG COM and reseted adaptation data to factory defaults but this measuremtn remained the same. Any thoughts on this?

ErWin says when Group 00 Field 9 is higher than 150 look for:

Fuel Supply too low (you must have 10l of fuel in the tank)
Ingress of Air between MAF and Turbo or in intake manifold.

      Are there no fault codes?

Also read Group 06 which shows all the lambda values.

Field 1 is lambda control(also in Group 01) - it should be between .96 and 1.04 at idle. It should not be at a constant 1.0 esp if you blip the throttle.

Fields 3 and 4 are the lambda adaption values - if they are more than 25% out from 1.0, there may be problems with the lambda.

        Thanks Gandalf,

Nice one about the fuel thing, it could be so (it is about 10-15l left). However I do have one error code and it is 00519 - Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor - Signal too High.

Unfortunately I can not ready groups 01-06 (this is possible only on ABY cars, mine is 3B).

OK on a DTC 00519 check:

Vacuum line from IM to ECU and liquid separator in that hose.?
          DV faulty?
          N75 faulty?
          MAP Sensor faulty?

You can check the N75 with the "Output Test" on Vagcom.

On the lambda - if you can't read Group 06 - look at group 00 Field 8 (Lambda control) It should not permanently be on 128 (lambda = 1) after the lambda has warmed up. Does it move around if you blip the throttle? It should try to stay around 128.
