MR2 Ford GT350 lookalike?

Hey guys,

just read the local paper and a local company (brainchild of Noble) has been modifying an MR2 to look like a Ford GT 350 Mustang. I think it looks quite good but not a patch on the original. The paper likened it to the GT500 Elanor from Gone in 60 seconds (god I love that car ).

What do you think.

Don't really care about it being a yank tank. Just imagine waking up every day and looking out the window seeing your S2 sat there for you to use every day and then right next to it Elanor waiting to sting your pocket for all the money in the world everytime you fill it with fuel and go for a razz.

You know that really wouln'd bother me as the 1967 shelby muastang has been one of my childhood dream cars since I was 5 and to be honest it still is.

Who in their right mind would drive a standard MR2 let alone one made to look like nothing it was supposed to look like. Even the 355 reps are crap
They will be doing Lambo Skoda kits next or turn your washing machine into the A team van.

At least my car was based on what it is supposed to look like, and I dont care if it isnt show quality-you can t polish a turd after all.

Yep have to agree this one looks horrendous!

If an MR2 can't stand on it's own merits, don't try and make it stand as something it isn't.
