My sister has seen him in his underwear!

Actually she taught him PE at Kirkcudbright Academy. I used to live about 6 miles from his house! My dad fitted the carpet in one of his early motor homes.

I used to work in the BBC for a couple of years so have walked around albert square, lunched with the cast regularly from eastenders and holby city (as that was the production i worked on) also worked on Mersey beat and went out with the cast whenever we were up there errrrrrrrm,

walked straight in to Pierce Brosnan when he was filiming Bond a few yrs ago as he was walking past our office i came out the door and straight in to him lol, the list is endless.

Best one tho i think is Angelina Jolie in a wet suit filming Tomb Raider 2 and getting to say hello to her too! lol

.....rolls his sleeves up to get stuck in

I have nearly been run over by jamiroquai on a quad bike at Le Mans when he did a concert for Audi in 2003
Had a beer and a chat with Markku Allen in Teateri in Helsinki a couple of years ago on my birthday - was awesome

Have met Walter Rhorl, Hannu Mikkola and Stig Blomqvist - have some pictures somewhere..

BUT by far and away the best claim to fame has to be whilst working for Ericsson a few years back and working for a season with the TWR Volvo Touring car team running their GSM based data logging project which was a first at the time in conjunction with Pi......had complete car access and 'worked' at all test sessions are Pembrey, Croft etc and regulary enjoyed some pasta with Ricard Rydell and Vincent Radermacker. All work since has been boring by comparisson funnily enough

I've met Alan McNish a few times. He comes from Dumfries. His Dad (Bert) owns the BMW dealership in the town. Alan used to man the sales desk in his younger years, while his Dad played racing games on his PC in his office upstairs!

Alan used to drink in the Globe in Dumfries. Since going to F1 and beyond, he has rarely been spotted in the town.

Caougharld is the original Celtic spelling. Do you know nothing?
