But i aint sure on what the car has had done, or if only the chip.
Have seen a few RS2 turbo's on the bay, shipped from america.

How much power do you want?

Where do you want it delivered in the rev range?

Hi Tina, you do know that the turbo timer and remote start will most likely invalidate you car alarms Thatcham 1 category?

I'd check your insurance policy as if anything happens to your car and they find it on it it will invalidate your policy.

@ Jamo .... will only use turbo timer for when i get home, (its for when am
dying for a wee & cant wait in car to let it cool down)
Also insurance............. am blonde also a propper tech is gonna
be doing it, as WONT let anyone meddle with it.
anyway all mods are declared to insurance company.
Remote start is for the winter as it gets really cold & snowy.

As for more power, want moree boost/acceleration thu gears.
My boyfriend has a GTO (& starting to mod it) and i just have to keep nailing it :mischeif:

I think you misunderstood my point, it doesn't matter if a tech installs it.

Turbo timers and remote starts are not thatcham approved, and any device which affects the operation of immobilisation cuts on your alarm/immobiliser invalidates thatcham approval.

This means that, technically, you could find yourself with no theft insurance...

Do you really need a turbo-timer if the after-run pump is working anyway?

Yep! After a hard blat, the last mile or so to my house is a 30 limit. I just roll it along in third till I get home. The fan still kicks in but at least you have taken some heat out of the Turbo....

                        Cheers,
