    Good luck!!

I'd take a look at my thread a few weeks back, some good links with pics etc of the removal process! Access is a right biatch, but if you don't have any dodgy bolts etc it's quite possible. It's much easier if you just take the engine out though

    Cheers

Brian, if you can get that done, then you are a super hero. Be prepared for some serious grief.

      Good luck mate.

Let me know how you get on!

cheers ross 25480 for the rad.

Leave it and clean it when you get there. I will be doing mine (again!) already did it tonight.

That sounds like an amazing rad swap Brian. How long did that take you???

          Nuff respect - well done!

          Cheers,

          Steve.

arrived at ross's place about 7.10pm. only took about 15mins to remove his rad from his 3b cos he never had any undertray or rad shroud .

arrived back at mine, about 8.10pm. removed mi split rad , then replaced it with the one ross lent me . had it runnin upto temp about 10.15pm, although i never attempet to re-fit my undertray .

just given it a well deserved all over body shampoo, with onlooking neighbours thinkin i have lost the plot.lol

so about 2 1/2 hours to remove two rads, and re-fit one

i changed one once on my 7a 2.3 20V coupe a few years ago.

think what spurred me on tonight was not missing the convoy tomorrow morning for gti . not much too it, just so long as all the threaded components are easy to undo. get a rusted threaded bit and i would have goten into trouble.

just hope the new rad holds out .
