    My project

Well I am not at GTI this year.
It seems many things conspired against me.
Could not get leave and am working nights today but this alone would not have stopped me being there at least for most of the day.
However, ordered uprated engine mounts and was promised quick delivery but seems that mounts were not even in stock. not good and ****** all you can do without them.
Not having =good time generally. Poor dog has suffered serious injury to spine and has needed major surgery on four vertabrae. Not cheap and no doggy insurance (at least £3500 + VAT ) but sure anyone with own dog will know you have to fork out for this as they become like member of the family. That all good hard earned money that can't go on other engine bits now but c'est la vie.
Hope those that did go had good day and look forward to readin repots on how well Tom and few others went.
    Cheers

Sorry to hear about the dog Chris. Hope all goes well.

Hope to see you at another event soon?

Recurring theme... I'm working too! Pain in the butt, but the beer and footy is easing the pain.

Bad news about the pooch Chris! I know what you mean about them being family members.

Being a dog owner also Chris I know how you feel with the vet bills, I have 5 hounds and they all come with insurance, which costs a fortune. I sympathise with you fully and as soon as the mounts land, they will be with you.
If it's worth anything I also have missed GTi also this year, still at work also.
Had a few phone calls from people saying what a great time they are having there, thanks for that everyone!!!

Le mans is on though so not all is bad and Audi are leading so yay!!!

Know how you are feeling on that one Chris,

My pooch is on drugs every day for Hip displacia and also fusing at the base of the spine,(can't remember the technical name for it). He has his good days and bad days just like us but I wouldn't be without him (why I am after an avant as he can't get comfy in the coupe). Attatched a piccie of him. Chin up mate.

          Aaron.

P.S. He is alot bigger than the picture suggests, it's just that I'm not that small either!!!!!

one exploded disc, one haemorhaged virtabrae and problem with 2 further virtabrae. to top it all also has a bladder infection now!
HE's back home now and doing amazingly well considering massive op. but obviously will take time to heel. At moment worst thing is, he just doesn't understand he can't go for his daily walks so is getting quite frustrated! Good sign I guess.
                  Cheers
