Hi guys,I am now going to voice this in public to see what you all think.
Right then. Due to a massive change in circumstances I have made a decision with regards to my cars......
Firstly I will soon have to travel further to work and therefore using the CQ with the 3B engine everyday will be a big no no due to the expense of the fuel hence the reason I am looking for a diesel (and estate for the dog too).
SO the idea is as follows.
Take the CQ off the road. Get the project car cut to shorty length. Then strip the CQ and use the parts on the project car, selling all things I don't need like the front bumper etc to assist in the purchase of the body parts for the shorty.
This way I have roughly everything I need spare a few bits and bobs like seats, roll cage etc. Also I know that the parts are in good running order as I have been driving them everyday up till now.
THis will also give me the chance to upgrade certain items in the time the project is running.
Right that's it, thought's please and a few questions too.
The subframes from the CQ20 will fit on the older CQ shape chassis won't they???
(if they do then I can utilise the RS2 FARB and the Whitline RARB)
ANy problems you guys can see with this??
Cheers
Aaron
I must be mad.
