Yeah, the runway might be damned short - but have you seen the width of it?!!!!!

              You should try Egyptair!

When landing at Aswan it didn't want to stop until about 20 secs after we'd actually touched down and the pilot threw out all the anchors! Everyone was bracing themselves for an impact that thankfully never happened.

When taking off from the same airport, the pilot gave it full throttle whilst still turning onto the runway! I think he just wanted to see how it handled on the twisty bits!

Oh - and the in-flight movies are a treat. Cartoons showing kids playing with guns and tanks - all in Arabic!

Still - I'd go back tomorrow if I had half a chance! Fabulous country!

Tame in comparison but landing in zero visibility fog in Holland scared the crap out of me, we circled around for over an hour due to the fog, but eventually they had to land. Looking out my window i thought we were a few hundred feet up until the the runway appeared out of nowhere followed by a bang! We hit the tarmac so hard we bounced off it and took off again. I swear that took a few years off my life
