Hate to be controversial but I can't stand specialized as a Brand! Don't get me wrong the bikes are well specced and the design and build quality is great but as a Brand they suc. I work in the bike industry and work closely with Spec (not my Choice) I should also point out to all those that aren't aware, Specialized are in fact produced by Giant so You are riding a Specialized designed bike built by the experts Giant!

I'm pretty sure Spec are going to take over the world soon! aaarrggh!

P.S. The Spec rep we deal with is a total a**e!

I'm off to Morzine in the Alps this August for some downhilling. Need to hire a bike
over there so let me know how you get on with the Big Hit. It's certainly on my list
for bikes to try out whilst over there.

Time to go and get some practice in - now where did I leave that pneumatic road drill?

I was out in Morzine last July, mostly XCing rather than DHing, but did the DH trails too. If you haven't been before, you won't be disappointed - the routes are really good.
