I have some A-Wire oakleys, with the firey orange lenses. However the lenses are of the RX variety so that I can see stuff, therefore I am the only person who can wear them.

My normal specs are Oakleys as well, Midnight Blue Straightline 4.0's.

I am a bit of an Oakley whore, I have four shirts as well...

                      No, no... its very important...
                      My choice,
1st, Oakley X-Metal XX Titanium, black iridium polarized lenses
2nd choice, are Oakley eye jackets, blue, with ice iridium polarized lenses.(as the x-metals dont fit inside a crash helmet)
I used Raybans for years, but dont like the newer styles, also found they didnt like being dropped. Oakleys have superb lenses, and are resistant to idiots like me...!

sad to say, i am also an Oakley whore. After you've tried them its hard to not just keep buying more. i do a fair bit of MTBing and mountaineering etc, and they really can't be beaten for optical quality in my opinion. they also do different lenses for different applications (interchangeable) and with different amounts of light and colours of light filtered out. they cost a bomb , but they are also the bomb, IMHO!!

I have always used RayBans and fancied a change, i tried hundreds of pairs of Oakleys and despite loving the styling on most of them, I could'nt find a pair that suited me.
In the end I went for s pair of Police (as worn by a certain Mr Beckham (so I've been told) and they are crap for driving, the lens glare really badly but I do love the style of the frames. I am after something similar from RayBan as the quality of their lens is second to none.
The parent company Bausch&Lombe also make the lens for F16 fighter pilot helmets, so that's good enough for me.
I dread to think how much I have spent on sunglasses over the years but I do like good ones

                            "raybans second to none"

controversial comment that Corey! Oakley come top every year in some independent tests of optical precision. i can't remember where it is, but i do remember reading it. Ray Bans were VERY high up too, though it did depend on the ones you bought whereas ALL the oakley range are bang on IIRC.

In my experience, the optics of Killler Loop were also reasonable, though not up to the Oakley/RayBan standard......

                            just my 2p,
