S2 replacement

Tough choice. I gave up after realising that the S2 is a pretty decent blend of value for money and performance.

Options were S6 4.2, E34/E39 M5/540i , Leon Cupra R, mk.2 Golf GTi 16v with MODS!, immaculate E30 325i sport / 318is... A mate has just bought an tuned S4 and it's even more refined than a standard S2, not sure I'd prefer it over the S2 TBH.

So I think the conclusion is, for the same price range there is no replacement.

as for adding on top, i would need 20-30k to satisfy my needs.

yeah it seems cheap doesnt it. Deffinitely my next car (only had the s2 2months though and am planning on keeping it at least 2-3years!). There was an absolutely stunning RS2-blue RS4 on there before with 20inch antheresite(sp) wheels and 450bhp upgraded, went for mid-20's i think. Piston heads is a good site- definitely a place for enthusiasts to buy from!

If you wanted to upgrade form s2, what would you upgrade to?

I think its time for me to move on, but i cannot find any car that would serve me as the s2 does.

Im thinking s4, but, its saloon and i dont like the look of em (the 2.7 tt one).

what would you have?

Like a few others have said, upgrade to an RS2!

As far as others go, I have a 911 and a Maserati Shamal, both are kicking out nearly 400 horses but the RS2 always has that edge on them.
