I got myself an AOL account the last time I was in California for 2 weeks because I needed an internet connection at the hotel I was in.

After the 2 weeks, I called AOL to cancel the account, as they were going to start charging me after having the account for more than 1 month. It took me 15 minutes of arguing with a stupidly idiotic lady that was trying to get me to keep my account. Even when I told her I didn't live in that country and didn't need the account she was still trying to make it like it would be an advantage to me if I kept my account.

Bottom line: don't even get it to start with, it's horrible and you can't get rid of them!
