Javad's 80 is his companies test/development mule. This is where he proves the magic. She is far from a stock 80 anymore and has been the culmination of a lifetimes work. I think he would blame his 80 for the start of 034Motorsport.Originally posted by Chris5044anymore info on car? wat is he running and what is it like to drive?
how much did it cost him?
I don't think the cost is quantifiable as the amount of develpoment time involved would be incalucable but I would estimate it cost him lots...

The dyno picture RPM: ~3160 rounds gives the elephant power. Probably a plotting mistake ? It would be interesting to know with what kind of internals the engine is built with.Comment

.... read between the lines.... (the 3160 point is c onfusing and kills the reliability of the chart)
2400rpm just can not offer 500hp.
Anyhow the strong development in PC EFI area is very wellcome if with large maps with lots of steps (16x32) or (32 x 32) and good interpolation in between with engine saving security options.Last edited by Tommy200rs; 17 July 2006, 07:15.Comment

Does this help?Originally posted by Tommy200rsIt would be interesting to know with what kind of internals the engine is built with.
This was the 2005 spec, 2006 has brought about a host of changes, mainly centred around the head area, 034 has been doing some real extensive developments on flow bench testing. I am sue there is other stuff but it is early and I have not had my cheerio's yetOriginally posted by 034Motorsport2005 has brought some major changes to the original 034EFI test bed. A new high flow 20v motor has brought power levels to a truly new level. The motor was extensively modified. The 20v head was worked over including flow bench testing (220cfm at 11mm lift) and 272/264 cams. The block was blueprinted, lightened and balanced, o-ringed (to clamp down an 034EFI copper head gasket) and fitted with 034EFI forged rods and forged JE pistons with an 8.3:1 compression ratio. A production 034 header flows to a new 034 GT40R turbo good for 800 HP. All this managed by an 034EFI Stage IIc running 034EFI DIS coils.

clutch slippage or lost traction on wheels.. But I don't understand why these people releases these "toiletpapers" How anyone can trust any dyno sheets they give?
Or maybe its same kind of mistake as this dahlbacks

Jason, thanks for your input, you pretty much hit the nail on the head, and your expertise dynotuning I greatly respect
As has been pointed out, the car is a full leather interior, complete car, as you can see, even an airfilter and full 3" exhaust are run. The only thing "drag" about this car are the 225 width BFG Drag radials. The intention of this car is to show what can be done with our literally bolt on parts with a properly built motor and our 034EFI engine management system. The point of this car is that anyone can build and tune it just like we have, its not rocket science.
We normally do our tuning and baselines on a Mustang dyno, which IME, read the lowest and more conservative of any dyno. IME, Dynojets read about 15-20% higher than the dyno we run on. And since we are at sea level, we _always_ run w/o SAE corrections.
The motor makes consistent 640whp Mustang runs with 38psi boost, the WG completely shut. This is a GT40R _completely_ uncorked.
What do I really think of this dynosheet? Well, I'll be honest, we are a company that aims to build its reputation upon legitimate results, legitimate service, legitimate value, so I have NO problem being completely frank here.
I don't subscribe to SAE corrections as they are notoriously over-inflated. Unfortunately the kid running the computer was a knucklehead and deleted our dynojet file immediately after this chart was printed, but one of my guys was able to see the uncorrected #'s and it was 780 whp with approx 650TQ, this is what I was expecting and VERY consistent with dynojet results compared to our tried and true 640whp repeatable Mustang runs.
The problem with the RPM is that we fire the coils every TDC, like sequential waste spark, so the dynojet was set to trigger every 360d, the scale is off on the chart, but the RPM input into the calculation are "correct".
The real value in this chart? Its the highest ever posted AT Waterfest, ON this dyno. Whatever you think about Dynojet's, they are VERY repeatable, no one has run even close to this, the dyno owner says the highest he's had on this dyno was a Viper with about 600whp SAE corrected, this weekend I don't believe anyone was even close.
Regardless, it is what it is, the car runs consistent 130mph trap speeds, the car was not touched with a wrench once all weekend wtih 2 dynopasses, 5 drag pulls and about 20-30 anti-lag demos.
This all with 104 octane, the motor idles perfectly at 900rpm, starts on the second crank, redlines at 8250rpm on stock hydraulic lifters and cams.
We'd love to have had a friendly comparo with some of the other major tuners like APR, REVO, HPA, etc, etc (as you all know, virtually EVERY major VW tuner is at WF), but none of the other tuners were dragracing OR dynoing. Its a shame, as a tuner we feel compelled to _prove_ our products and services to our customers and clientele, infact we towed this car 6000 miles to do just this.
Oh well, maybe next year?
