HOW DID I MISS THIS VIDEO?!?! It's low quality but definitely worth a watch - I never realised the quattro had so much US history, no wonder it has a bit of a cult following over there!

I Love my Audi

Hi-lights...

1. Yanks laughing at the "Audi Saloon" with it's little 5cyl turbo engine at it's debut trans-am street race
2. Yanks laughing at the "Audi Saloon" in it's 2nd race - until it wins it
3. Yanks complaining as "Audi Saloon" continues to win in all the races
4. Yanks campaigning for "Audi Saloon" to be banned as they can't compete with it
5. Yanks enforcing heavy handicap to stop "Audi Saloon" trouncing the series ("It's because our v8s are heavier")
6. Yanks continue complaining as the handicapped "Audi Saloon" rapes the competition. After oblitterating the series Audi "are not invited back the next year"
7. Audi goto another yank racing series with much tougher, faster competiting and annihalate that too. Especially in the rain.

I'm guessing the 1hr is with the adverts in? The one Jon posted is 22mins - typical yank tv! Gimme a few hours on the web space Mark, I'll PM you a few details and I'll get it hosted. What resolution is it? Could be time to test the 40" Bravia's PC connectivity :mischeif: At that size, I'll probably only facilitate about 20-30 downloads but I can't see too many wanting to download that size of file!

Don't forget we and the germans also penalised the quattro drivetrain in the BTCC and the DTM series with the A4 touring cars because of it's "unfair advantage".
Don't know why it's classed as unfair though , just sound engineering practise
The sound of the I5 engine is just timeless.

I go on the brake with the left foot and stay on the throttle with the right foot so i still have my boost pressure, And then when i leave the brake off the car moves forward like a sky rocket and thats what its all about
