Does anyone use the KKK27 turbo ?, how bad is the lag and is it easy to fit ? thanx

I'm no expert but I think that using a K27 will give you lots of power ( more than your stock rods will be able to handle, that's for sure ) but the lag will be very big...
My engine's pushing 400hp thanks to a hybrid turbo K26 hotside with a K27 coldside housing fitted with a K29 turbine spooling inside and I get full boost by 3800 rpm and it isn't gasping for more air at 7000 rpm so, in three words, I love it !

Yes, I am running with stock rods. But as I've already said, if you run this hybrid turbo to it's max, you WILL bend your stock rods ! :mischeif:Originally posted by LEE HIDSON
