18" RS2 Rims?

[Coxy]

These were on eBay last week and the seller states they are 18" RS2 rims.

The RS2 came with 17's as standard, but does anyone know if they offered the 18's as an optional extra? Basically, I know the guy that has bought them and he's after some 17's for his German Look bug and wants to do a swap with my RS2 rims.

Never an official optional extra in UK AFAIK. However LHD cars got a better option list and this may have been such an option
