Played around with a british S4 V8 on a highway section near where I live and we got stuck together behind slower traffic on the fast lane, he then indicated that he was going to let me pass but he did so while flooring his V8
I didn't leave him for dead but passed him nice and clean ! Am I wrong in believing that he had 340 bhp ???
yup, about 340ish bhp. but they are heavy mothers, and it could have been an auto. An old B5 S4 2.7biturbo is faster to 60mph, and they've "only" got 265bhp. I speak from experience.... i have a B5 and B6/B7 S4s do not win
The S4 is not as quick on accelaration as an (R)S2.
They are very nicely balanced in corners and can be driven at very high sppeds very comfortably but are not as quick as our (R)S2s. I also have a B7 S4. My MRC (R)S2 leaves it for dead.
