Hi guys, and I know this has been debated to death, about which oil to use in your S2
My question is a little different...
I am in Romania now, with temperatures regularly 35 and higher. I will be driving back to the UK in October, and then back to Romania in November...
Temperatures in the winter here regularly reach -35, which brings me to my problem.
Which oil should I be using for these stupidly low temperatures? bearing in mind it isn't -35 all day every day.
I have got semi synth 10W40 in it now, with no obvious oil problems, and will need to buy the oil in the uk (along with a filter and anything else I need) as there is not much available here, and do the oil change on my return, as it will be due a service at that point.
If I put in 'winter oil' presumably come warmer weather in Feb/March I would need to change again to thicker stuff... probably Silkolene Pro S as discussed in a different thread...
Any advice from oil experts or people living in or near Greenland would be most helpful...!
Thanks,
Chris
