Not being a big fella myself i'd recommend abusing people from the driver's seat via an open window. I'm not that confident in my legs but i'm pretty confident in 4WD and a turbo.
I've been finding the same with the S line badges. confusing.
On the issue of S badges on 1.6 A4s and Golfs... I can't figure out why you'd do that. Surely it just sets the driver up for an impotent droop when their car can't compete? Let them abuse the badges. I'll just grin at them as they turn their key and then I turn mine.

It all goes towards keeping the stealth factor of the S2 / RS2 alive!

          Sline = ********.

Audi wouldn't devalue the core Audi brand by sticking thier badge on a Ford, but they are happy to devalue the sub S and RS branding by producing Sline. I just dont understand this.

Oh and as for the uuank3rs driving around with S and RS badges on golfs and ****** skodas i hope your d1cks drop of soon.

We should get some windscreen stickers printed informing these idiots of their knobish ways and slap one on the windscreen everytime we find one.

I used to have a mad 16v coupe on ITB's and standalone - it went like stink but i never considered sticking a S/RS badge on it.

I would say that if you did, you would need to put all the badges on....

an S2 badge (for the engine)
an S4 badge (for the AAN manifold)
an RS2 badge (for the anti-roll bar)
an RS4 badge (for the wheels)

Then you'll just need the AA badge, the tow bar and the caravan and you'll be set

                Cheers n

The worst I have seen is a 1.2 Polo Jazz with RS6 badges on it. Why why why?

It might not be a 5 pot or an S2... but at least I have a 20v Turbo in my life again.

I thought about that myself and the answer is no, if anything i'm going to debadge mine when i do the conversion. It will never be an S2, just a really fast cq20v :mischeif:

I would also say unless you have a B4 front end dont put an S2 badge on, it will look out of place and everybody will think your a tosser

                        Mark.

It just makes me laugh though really when I see something badged up to be something its not! I'd prefere to have mine de-badged sometimes to stop people sitting on my bumper!

Havn't seen anything non-audi with an S badge, but the other day I saw a very standard A4 with S badges and bigger wheels. Weird thing was, it was being driven by an elderly chinese guy with his whole family in the car.. just looked a bit odd, as I expected a fat skin head with an earing, wearing a wife beater with the St George's cross on it and a tribal tatoo on his arm. (You know, the type who drive modified 1.8 R-reg vectras).

The S-line thing is great! Makes our 10+ year old cars look the same... yet we can all beat every single one of them! Probably spend about £10 a month on fuel proving this point everytime a '56 plate diesel sits on my **** thinking hes bought a mans car!

Just looked, you can get an RS6 estate for 20k now! I don't think theres anything cooler than a Black, tinted RS6 estate with Anthresite(sp) wheels, blacked-out chromy bits and ofcourse... de-badged!
...ever since I floored you I knew that I loved you!

Hmm I can only assume that both of those VWs have been fitted with full RS2 running gear?

Was it a S2-driving member from here who got a load of abuse for "sticking an S badge on an old Audi 80" off some twonk?
