indeed very sad news this... he was very passionate and dedicated to his work and will be missed the world over. It's not often people like him come around and i'm sure everyone will agree he was highly entertaining and showed a genuine and pure enthusiasm for what he did.
Rest in peace Steve and my thoughts are with your family and friends right now.

The very 1st time I saw that guy on tele (circa 1998/1999) I said to me missus that we has bound to come to a sticky end. He must have thought he was invincible or had a screw loose or something. Don't get me wrong... I have a lot of respect for the guy, but its a bloody stupid way to die when you've got a young family like that.

Surely he should have had the sense to tone down the danger levels after the kids. Perhaps he did - maybe it was just one of those freak accidents... He just seemed to flaunt danger all the time. Such a waste of a life that was passionate about his cause. He will be missed.
