Nah! I like the cars but find the average Maserati owner up his own **** to be honest!!!

I run our local VW club (have done for 11 years now!).

Put it this way, I look/act/dress more like yer average VW owner than yer average Maserati owner!

      Good man.

I hate it when people get above themselves I can imagine that happens from time to time with expensive cars such as Ferraris and Maseratis.

Having said that, one chap I know has a kitted out 911 and a few other flash motors and he is the nicest guy you can talk to and you would not think he is very rich nor is he at all up himself. Before I got the S2 I took around my 8v coupe and he fell in love with it, so much so he spent so long looking over it we completely lost track of time and I lost out of a ride around in the 911

I'm here for the love of fast and well engineered cars. (I await the digs about the absolutely fantastic build quality of anything built in Italy!!)
I hate all the snobbery about certain marks, especially the Italian cars.
Most of my weekends are spent at VW shows or camping in the van in a field with mates, with beer and maybe something of the herbal variety just to wind down of a weekend.
I drive my cars like they were meant to be driven. Most of the time, they are on the drive and not garaged, ready to be driven!
I've polsihed the Maserati once in the 6 months since I've had it. If it was meant to be looked at and polished, they'd have supplied a meguiars kit with it, but instead they decided to fit a pair of turbos to a V8 engine so sod that for a game of soldiers!!

fair play to the guy at the lights on the A449 last night in his Bently Continental Turbo for trying to keep up! Nice to see nearly £200,000k worth of car being driven like it's been stolen!!

I'd quite like to get mine on the rollers again to make sure I wasn't being told fibs from the last time I went.
