Whats a chipped A3 like?

Hi peeps i may have to sell the s2 to get a bit of cash. The thing i dont want to lose the power. I was looking at the Audi A3 1.8T which i think is 150HP. Has anybody been in or encounted a remapped/chipped A3? What is it like and what sort of figures can u expect?

My little bro has an Audi A3 1.8T FWD which was 150 bhp he has now had it chipped and a miltec cat back system fitted. He posted a 0-60 time of 6.7 seconds and a 14.6 quater mile at GTI international this year. He was posting better times than the standard S3's He thinks its about 210 - 215 bhp. Better power to weight ratio than my unchipped ABY but alas he is short on traction being FWD he he. Once we are moving though I cant shake him. Feels a lot nippier to drive than the S2 and a lot less turbo lag. Does not have that 5 pot growl either but all in all very nice motor. Hope this helps pal

my last A3 1,8Tq i chiped from 150 to 193hp 302Nm and it was realy nice espeshaly during overtakes. This A3 i have now is a TsQ and it have 215hp 323Nm and its also nice.

one of my frends chiped his golf gti 150hp engine and got 215hp and 372Nm with optiflow filter and oter house to the turbo intake, 3" downpipe 3" cat and 2,5" sainless exhaust. aqnd hes car is much funier to drive if you floor it on the 3rd gear during exit of a curve if will spin on both of hes 18" wheels.
