Sold my OZ super Ts left over from my Corrado days on the bay.

Today I find out that they were purchased by a 16 year old using his mum's account. Apparently his dad thinks they are too expensive and will not allow him to buy them.

At 16 the only wheels I was considering buying were Skway Mags for my Haro.

Now she is refusing to pay saying she doesnt own a car and therfore does not want them Emails were non too pleasant either. Don't these people realise that they are entering into a legal contract?

Anybody had similar experiences? Not sure what to do now other than re-list them. Any thoughts?

yes - but leaving negative feedback to these kind of idiots just results in them leaving negative feedback for yourself. And then it's almost impossible to get rid of. Very annouying if you're 100% otherwise.

And as for it being a legal contract....... it may well be seen by some as a contract, but if the law isn't prepared to enforce it...... there is not much you can do.


Just forget about it and relist is my advice. (or wait until 59 days and 23.59 hours have gone by and then leave them abusive feedback before they've got time to return the favour!!!)..... surely someone should create a 'sniping service to allow that!!!

Sometimes mistakes are made like this... wasn't there an article in the news a day or two ago about that kid hitting a "buy it now" on a pink Nissan?

I'd just let it go and relist.

Not many people will take 2nd chance offers i know i dont as it's normally a scam.

Cut your losses, dont bother with the negative feedback they'll just leave the same for you not worth it.

Report to ebay get your selling fees back and then relist saying time waster.

I can understand why you are p*ss*d, but like others have said if they have already been fairlyy unpleasant about it if you leave -ve feedback then they will do the same to you to spite you.

Not to mention isn't it illegal to enter into a contact with a minor??
