the quality of the photo mostly depends on lens You use, not on Mpix. tell me what You want to do exactly and we can find proper solution. the picture attached is made by 6 Mpix digital SLR camera with mid-class lenses.Comment

I need some high quality, high resolution photos in order to generate a 3D model of the car. If I use 10-11 mpix images of good quality I can assure myself accuracy to .02", which is enough accuracy to build real world objects from.Comment

Sadly I missed this thread before today. If I'd known I could of taken some 10.2mpix photo's with a decent lens at CC. Sorry.

What part of the country are you in? Maybe someone can meet up with you who has a straight S2? The RS2 front end (3-4 pix at diff angles) from the wheels forward would be helpful or nice Anyone want to meet up with AAN! ?
