My Question now is would this system work toghether with the Motronic?
Lets say we Replace the MAF and use this instead, can we then add more fuel together with a WB signal. If i understand it right then it is possible to have all the safety features and "tune" at once.
If something is not right i.e. the engine is pinging then the motronic retards the Spark, if a WGFV is faulty then and since the Motronic controls the Boost it just goes to safe mode.
It can Support Speed Density instead of MAF, Wide Open Throttle Wide band Closed loop ect. They say it can also adjust fuelling by +- 60 % in very small steps.
This is piggyback unit. For what I have seen form the pdf file, it reads a few signals and alteres the MAF signal to the ECU so it will delivery more or less fuel. But this must be used carefully as you know the MAF siganl does not only changes fuel but also the ignition, as ignition table is MAF dependent also.
I think these units are good for light modifications, if your are planing to modified your car with bigger turbos, cams this is not a good product to do so.
Thsi autronic module just alters th esignal of the MAF. Thsi other MAF Translator, can remove the MAF and use MAP signals. It can take infos of a WB and adjust Close loop.
And if you take th eassebled kit with the display then you are at 300 US $.
The question is how much can it bring on the 5 Cylinders?
Does the Motronic take the MAF in account on all Load Sites?
