Hi everyone,

Came across one driving down the E40 towards the Nurburgring so decided to tickle it a bit ( thought it was a R33 Skyline at first ) :mischeif: :mischeif: :mischeif:

Boy does that thing fly !!!

We sped up from about 100 km/h till 220 km/h and I held on behind him all the way but I wasn't gaining !!!

After that, we rolled down the windows as traffic built up around us so we had a small friendly chat and he said he was impressed by the very stealth look of the Avant and said he was running more or less 300bhp. We did a smaller run both in 4th gear and I won that one by a mile but as soon as he started hitting high revs, he was all over me again

Has anyone had previous experience against one of these coz it would've blown away a stock S2 !

There was one or two at western performance at the weekend, from what ive heard they have alot of tuning potential

They do indeed have alot of tuning potential. The 200SX S14 has something like 200bhp stock. 2L turbo engine. The 240SX is, in america anyways, has a 2.4something NA engine. But there is also the S13 version (the ooold version) with a 1.8L engine and 170bhp.
Look up the SR20DET engine on the net.. there are TONS of mods and tuningbits available.

Similar tuning principals to the 20v 5 cylinder. Big injectors, big turbo, big intercooler, big exhaust manifold, big fuel pump, pistons, con rods, crank bearings, external wastegate and a clever dyno remap or tune.

Basically have a skyline engine minus two cylinders and the 4 wheel drive system.
