I seem to remember that the Northumberland Police had 2 MTM RS6's on there fleet that used to do the A66??

They still have. One was in the dealers (Teeside Audi) 3/4 months ago getting a service.
I've a friend who's mate got nabbed on his bike at some silly speed off one of those.

Not sure. Could have been. All I remember is that they patrol across the A66 from and as that starts off in Cumbria, it could well have been.
