does anybody know of a tried and trusted method for removing the above? got stopped by the plod tonight on the way home from work and he was going to give me a ticket which would stop me from using the car he said the minimum limit is 70% mine was err 19% so it has to come off so any advice would be very helpful cheers me dears

I'd be wary of using a heat gun, glass doesnt like to be heated up unevenly, call autoglass or someone there must be a simple way.

I've removed the stuff with a heat gun on low setting. Comes off really easily - smells bad though. The glue that is left over is water soluble so just wipe down afterwards with hot soapy water.

got the film off today it just peeled off but the glue was a bitch had to use ipa but job done, cheers for your info guys
