Scooby gone to scotland today. Dont miss it as much as the S2 tho.
But if i had'nt got my butt in 3b & aby, i might have had a nice licence still,
and not fines to pay. Only just got my licence back from the courts, i had to ring them for it (they had
it since june) and dosy sod, only got copped for the IOThems

Anyway, not car-less atm, have a little toy 306 xsi had a gti6 before,
but apparently i killed it (told i can get a bit rough with cars)
but this little car is a 2litre 8v dropped 50mm with 16's n other bits under the bonnet
and its got an airbag. (not a harsh drive either)
Like superglue, so av had a bit fun today :mischeif:

Insured it today aswell

So i can look for a sensible car & not panic buy.

Bad news.

I dont want to put a dampener on things but i am 99.9% sure that to get a job as a bus driver you need a clean licence. If you have points you are screwed. Correct me if i am wrong guys

well as usual i have to say i had an ex police 3.0l 24v omega and it was one of the cheapest cars to insure and it was pretty good on fuel to and well my favorite bit was with out a doubt the rear wheel drive fun i had it was excellent rear end hanging out all over the place and all for about 1500 quid now in s2 terms i think you carnt really say they are that bad ( how much money can you lose at this price o yeh 1500 quid) although dont get me wrong i blooming hate the styling etc but it dont take a lot to look like a holden and well thats one of the best handling rear wheel drive cars ever is it not.. except for the 200sx i feel ashamed for writing this ... but its true i tell you adn the engine isnt that bad either and it sounded lovely with a ram air filter on made my mates vr6 sound a bit gay with the same induction kit on ..

Holden: best handling rear wheel drive car? Since when? How about Ferrari, Porsche, Lotus, any BMW M, any Merc AMG..the list is endless. The Holden is a barge that used 1972 Opel rear suspension until only a few months ago.

front engined holden is prasied of its super handling is it not .. i think even mister clarkson said its one of the best .. i know compared to super cars ( which i dont class lotus as ) but there fibreglass so they aint even a real car anyway.. there not the best but im pretty sure you will find it up there at the top// ive driven a lot and even the old bill still praise the senetor as an excellent machine .. ( better than the omega in fact.) and yeh im a realist and ferraris etc dont even gat a thought in my brain..

But I thought we were talking 3 litre Omega, (which I owned and IS crap), not V8 race cars, (which probably cost as much as a secondhand Ferrari), and not the latest version of the Holden, which I am sure is fine...
Very good value, for sure... but this is for good reason... door handles come off in your hand, electrical gremlins and general clumsiness...
I agree, the Senator was a much better car... in its day, which fortunately has long gone.
I know the S2 is not the most modern thing in the world, neither is alot of the Jap stuff about, but you'll see which has the best following, and is more desirable, also for very good reasons...
