Wheel Weights....

My exhaustive reserch in to different wheel weights has been concluded with these
results.
AVUS 16 WITH TYRE 19.4KG
AVUS 18 WITH TYRE AND SPACES 24.5 KG
BBS LM 18 WITH TYRE 21 KG
So a saving of 14kg over the S8 wheels i replaced .
not very exhaustive realy.
Did i read somewhere that its like removing double the sprung weight v unsprung .

Lighter maybe, but they're Chromed mate

Let me put it this was.....tonight whilst scoffing I watched 2 episodes of 'Pimp my ride' back to back. The first was the UK spin off. The second was the US original.

The UK show featured a spotty oik with a 1.3i Suzuki Swift GTi worth about 15pence before the make-over (and about 21 pence afterwords). The presenter is a scrawny 40 year old white guy who thinks he is a 20 year old black American gangster rapper.....which he clearly is not!...probably the only thing he ever shot was his bolt over an old readers wives section. This guy has the street cred of a turd! When they made this pile of Jap 5hite over, it was covered in so many tacky Japanese symbols that you couldn't see the paint work and they took the rear view morrow off so that they could put a forward facing projector there instead First bump he goes over and he is gonna headbutt the **** end of 2Kgs of hot electronics and brain himself

The US show then came on and that featured a 22 year old dancer with fabulous legs and a wash board stomach (face was a bag of bolts, but then fireplaces and stoking come to mind ). The presenter IS a muscled-up 20 year old black American rapper who probably HAS shot someone and has real street cred...also made some quite funny outtakes too. The car was a 1956 Chevy Belair in two-tone paint and a beast of a V8 lump. Unlike the UK show, they actually bothered with the engine and suspension during the rebuild and on the outside, left the car looking 100% orignal, but with well hiddem modern equipment on the inside.

Chromed wheels are a 1.3i Suzy Swift(less) Now I want no more talk of Chromed wheels on the Forum EVER again, or I'll stop all your pocket money!
