Might be worth checking the seats on your bolts match the seats on your new "sexy as ***k" wheels Andy. IIRC Dan_B had bolts coming loose on his cups due the bolts having wrong type of seat.

I can't say nowt, I did that years ago on my 16v red top Astra GTE. Car was off the road for a month cos I thought the clunking was borked outer CV's, was only when I thought I'd remove the wheels to refurb them, that I found "all" the front wheel bolts loose
Nver did live that down with me mates

Had the same prob here, I took my s2 to the mechanic to get some new rotors and pads and they did not tighten the front left before giving it back to me. Was on the freeway doing 150 and started wobbling like crazy. Pulled over and 3 of the nuts were floating around behind the audi cap. Never going back there!
